Senior year, A.P. Physics. Surrounded by equations and the laws of attraction, DeVon and Yvette found themselves drawn together in a different kind of experiment – a team project where only they seemed to be putting in the work. It wasn't just gravity that kept them close; it was the spark of conversation, the shared laughter, and the blossoming of a love story that soon swept them off their feet. From that moment on, they've been inseparable.
College, however, presented a new challenge: distance. DeVon, chasing his passion for physics at Denison, and Yvette, conquering the world of engineering at Michigan, found themselves miles apart. But their connection, a constant defying the laws of separation, thrived on late-night Skype calls, a constant stream of messages, and even the serendipity of shared online classes (destiny with a playful wink!). Those late nights weren't just fueled by coffee; countless bowls of ramen noodles became a badge of honor, a testament to their shared struggles and unwavering support.
Graduation brought them together again, this time in the bustling heart of Chicago, their love a beacon in the urban landscape. Yet, their adventurous spirits craved new horizons. So, they embarked on a journey westward, hand-in-hand, settling in the breathtaking beauty of Colorado.
On February 11th, beneath a Bahamian sky sprinkled with stars, DeVon found the perfect formula: DeVon + Yvette = Forever. With a dazzling ring and a tear of joy, Yvette whispered "Yes!"
